...but this isn't really me.

(I swiped this picture from here.  I’ll have less hair than this guy in 5 years at the current rate.)

What do you do when you agonize over every single word?  I asked myself this question one night and out popped a brilliant solution: set a timer for 20 minutes and publish whatever you have when it goes off!

This forces me to decide whether it is more important to finish a thought without wording everything perfectly, or to word everything perfectly but leave the thought unfinished.  I describe why this is so difficult for me and why I want to address the problem here.

So I’ve set out to blog, and I have to post at least once a week in 20 minutes or less.  I’ve made this one of my 101 goals (currently under construction–this is #53), so I’ve created a separate page to chart my progress.

20-minute A Heavy Word posts:

1. January 17, 2011–CiA 3, or “These Are My 20 Minutes”

2. January 17,2011–Affirmation

3. January 21, 2011–Oblivious.

4. February 3, 2011–Is sex a communal issue?

*And before anyone asks, it took me 15 minutes to create this page.
